Seasons of Care Initiative

Seasons of Care Caring is sharing

What is it? At the Olympia Schools, we care about community service and use it as an opportunity for learning for all of our students with the support of teachers, staff, and parents. “Seasons of Care” Charitable Fund aims to foster schooling among disadvantaged children, families and schools. The Board of Management’s “Seasons of Care” includes representatives of the Parents Association, administrators, teachers and students. All Olympia community members will participate in service activities.

Who do we help? The “Seasons of Care” fund prioritizes but is not limited to the following possibilities:

  1. Poor children with disabilities;
  2. Children and school in distant areas;
  3. Families in zones with annual natural disasters;
  4. Children and families proposed by Local Red Cross organization and Department/ Bureau of Education and Training.
How do we help? The Olympia Schools provides a variety of interventions such as:
  • Giving scholarships to children and families in different locations;
  • Paying annual school fees for disadvantaged children;
  • Collecting clothes, books, dry food and sending to distant areas;
  • Fundraising by art and music performance, Olympia’s bakery, etc.;
  • Being sponsors of charitable activities organized by different institutions;
  • Organizing children’s festivals for orphanage villages, centers, etc.

You can also help us by proposing and suggesting more activities and cases. The Fund will do the verifying procedures and consider the best support that the children/ families/ institutions might need.
